Do you ever park across two spaces In a car park to avoid people scraping your car? Apparently this is becoming a thing now but I think it's wrong and inconsiderate especially at busy supermarket carparks mad.gif Do you agree with people who do this or are they awful drivers?

Anyone who does this is a dick, people who have a genuine need for extra room have special spaces there for them. Many spaces are too tight though, but this is plain inconsiderate.

If people are worried about scraping other cars, just drive around the car park and park next to the newest, most expensive looking car there is. The driver will be more careful so they don't scrape the expensive car, and the owner of the other car will be more careful so they don't ruin their own car.

That's why I avoid parking next to like run down, beaten up looking cars and cars which are that dirty they don't actually look like they've seen water and soap, because (probably stereotyping here) they seem like the type of people that just throw their doors open and aren't THAT bothered if their car gets a bit scratched in the process.

Still having lessons atm and only just getting used to bay parking but even now I'd never do that and it's certainly not something I'm going to do after I pass, the amount of times I've been a passenger in a car when we were looking for a space in a full car park puts me off even thinking about it, spaces are valuable.

I can't drive yet but parking across multiple bays is a highly irritating thing to observe. What u doing people.

Someone (rightfully so) got ripped into for doing this in our Uni car park when a student uploaded a pic of it to the Uni Facebook group.

Can't say I've ever done this (maybe when I first passed and was shit at driving, but not intentionally laugh.gif). Not a fan of people that do, I always park as far away from the supermarket/to the quietest point of the car park to avoid scratches!

I'm against it. It pisses me off when people take up two spaces, especially when it's really busy like weekends, Easter and Christmas when you're struggling to find parking. Car parks need to enforce a fine on people who park like that and then it will teach them to park properly
