I'm looking to get rid of a few cds and Music Magpie said one of my old Status quo cd singles was worth £2.50 - which is quite high - would it be worth putting it on eBay?

Up to you really. You can either put a Buy it Now price on eBay or put your items on for bids. Just be wary that eBay take a small percentage of what you sell

I use eBay quite a lot but it can go either way. Some things you can be listing for months and months, other things can end up in a bidding war. I sold an Evanescence DVD once which started off at 99p, ended up selling for about £13!

And yes, eBay does take a percentage of what you sell, so make sure you list when you have free listings, otherwise you'll be paying to list your item as well.

I'd recommend always posting stuff with tracked delivery though, because there are a lot of people who claim to never have got things so to back yourself up get it sent with tracked delivery and then you can check where the item is.

As for music magpie, I wouldn't use them. I found you can get a lot more with a site called Ziffit., but if you've got a lot to sell then maybe sell them as a job lot on eBay, you may get more that way smile.gif

I was looking for a thread about eBay and this was the most recent. tongue.gif

I wondered what the Buzzjack community use eBay for mainly (buying or selling), and how often you make use of it.

Also, whatís your eBay score and feedback?

I became a member in 2003 and I have 100% positive feedback and my score is currently 538 (with a purple star). biggrin.gif

In the last 12 months Iíve made 56 transactions (mostly purchases).

How about you?

I have purchased many items in the past on eBay but it was always on my dad's account! Funnily enough his was created in 2003 and has 100% positive feedback too, but with a score of 601. My purchases would mostly be memorabilia like during my Spice Girls phase. The only time I've ever lost a bidding war was for a Spice Girls polaroid camera lmao. I have sold quite a few childhood job lots via my dad's account as well such as my entire Bratz and My Little Pony collections. I haven't bought anything on eBay for a while, I mainly use Amazon now which I actually do have my own account for.

I use it fairly regularly to get cheap things/things I canít get locally. I particularly love the Argos collection option so I can get them without my fam knowing kink.gif

There was one time when I was in Year 4 and I went on my mum's eBay account and bought a lot of CDs.

Some NOW CDs, A Bangles Greatest Hits compilation, Royksopp's Melody AM, Simple Minds' cover album.

I still list a lot to sell on eBay, and have been doing since 2012. I've only got 317 feedback (but still 100%) because not everyone leaves feedback, which annoys me because I always try to leave feedback for other users whether I'm buying or selling.

At the moment I've got a lot of tour flyers for sale. Also a signed Conor Maynard (?? no idea who he is! laugh.gif ) CD, P!nk coasters, wristbands and a few items of clothing.
