I think this year it's going to be the Brits choice of Best British Female Solo Artist – Emeli Sandé. smile.gif

The Vamps seem like a likely shout. Not sure if Sande is 'fun' enough for Comic Relief.

Was Sam Smith 'fun'?

It could be Sandé, or it could be someone like Olly Murs. I'm awful at making predictions laugh.gif

Spirit In The Sky *.*

I've gone for The Vamps as well. Let's see if we can be psychic again after BJ guessing Craig David right for the last charity single~

I mean it was Lay Me Down in 2015, you can't get any less fun than that kink.gif Unless aural torture and slowly slipping into a coma is anyone's idea of fun.

The Vamps are the most likely choice, they're due a new single and boybands seem to get picked for this often.

I will go for Little Mix, they are the biggest pop group in the UK at the minute, and due to boybands getting picked a lot recently and two solo artists last year we are due a girlband doing it.

Little Mix have already done one for Sport Relief though ('Word Up', 2014). I know they aren't the same thing but it's less likely they'll get chosen again.

There's an 10 hour loop of this on YouTube.

I'll go for Little Mix to do the Comic Relief single hoping also for a novelty record as well maybe.

I think Paloma's about the level of fame and popularity to do it. A lot of the rest of the list is too big or too niche.

I would've said Louisa Johnson but I think her second ever single being the Comic Relief is unlikely. If she can put out another single or two in between, sure.

Little Mix would be a safe bet but they might be 'too big' right now; also their album has singles ready to go and none that would fit the right kind of style.

...having said that I wouldn't put it past Cowell to make a Fleur East and Honey G supergroup especially as a one-off last ditch attempt to make them happen.

'East & Weezy'?

I was originally thinking it could be someone like JP Cooper coming off the back of Perfect Strangers and September Song, but for the same reasons as Louisa I do see how it's unlikely.

Fleur East or Emeli Sandé is probably a safe bet. Albeit one I'm not particularly looking forward to though
