Onions, mushrooms & baby potatoes in the fridge.

Butter in the fridge, although taken out 30 minutes before I intend to use it so it's soft.

All fruit in a fruit bowl, bar strawberries, which go in the fridge.

Onions, in the cupboard I think. Same with potatoes.

Any type of berry, in the fridge. Other fruit, not in the fridge.

Eggs, not in the fridge (better still, NOT AT ALL, disgusting things)

Eggs in the fridge, onions and potatoes out the fridge.

All fruit except for ones in cartons (most berries) are in a fruit bowl. The berries go in the fridge.

You can't say wrong for putting eggs in the fridge when almost all fridges nowadays come with an egg holder shelf thing.

Room temperature
Many European countries support this method of refrigeration. Storing eggs at room temperature is considered to be feasible. In EU countries, eggs are not sterilized and left with the cuticle (An outer covering that seals the egg and helping prevent bacteria from entering). Therefore, storing eggs at room temperature is considered to be the best option.

It's better to keep eggs in the cupboard at room temperature! If you live in U.K./Europe anyway.

I think it's personal preference rather than "better than/worse than" tbh. Yes, they don't have to be kept in the fridge, but they last longer if refrigerated (as do most foods).

We keep ours in the fridge and then take what we're using out about 30 minutes before cooking so they get back up to room temperature.
