We posted at same time Martin. They can delete my thread if they want then.

A car has mowed down people on Westminster Bridge, injuring many. Then the driver, an Asian man in his 40's say police, got out of the car and stabbed a police officer outside Parliament and was shot dead by armed plain-clothes cops.

Oh God. I have to say, I'm glad I don't live in London anymore. Hopefully no one (other than the attacker) has been killed.

Apparently the key areas around London are on lockdown, it could be linked to a terrorist attack.

Was just on the train home from Central when I heard about this! Horrifying, the assailant that stabbed the policeman has been apparently shot down though I don't know about what happened on the bridge, let's just hope this doesn't escalate further

This is from witness, it is not fact yet. It's something the Daily Mail have jumped on. Met police have issued nothing to confirm who the diver is as of yet.

It's quite chaotic here in central London. Police everywhere.

Was this just one person or more? I don't think I'm fully understanding.

Hope everyone else is okay though and that there's no more fatalities sad.gif

Today is the one year anniversary of the Belgian airport terrorist attack as well. It seems like 22nd March is turning into a dark day for the world, I hope no one dies from their injuries.

Obviously we don't know ANY of those details yet and assumptions shouldn't be made but could that have something to do with it?

I wouldn't be surprised if ISIS planned this to coincide with the anniversary of last year's terrorist attack.

This type of thing could happen anywhere not just in London.

London's a far bigger target than anywhere else in the UK though. Look at the previous European attacks - Paris, Brussels...

All you need is a car and a knife for this type of terror attack. This attack can happen anywhere, no one can be complacent.
