I can't say I've ever noticed a difference in taste particularly with where I used to live in the Midlands (hard water) and where I live now in the North (soft water). I can tell the difference between the water that comes out the TAP IN THE DOWNSTAIRS ROOM and water that comes out the bathroom taps though, for example. blink.gif

Edit: Please can someone remove the ridiculous filter or I'm gonna go insane.

Midlands water is awesome. Very cold and slightly better than southern water.

you can do it like this tongue.gif It tricks the system into thinking there's text to bold between k and i but it just comes out normal - kitchen.

CODE
k[b][/b]itchen

But it is quite annoying to have to do that, the filter was only made because for some reason there was a period where EVERY spammer would spam about kitchens.

Objectively speaking, the best water has to be in NW England, Pennines, Wales and Scotland. The sheer amount of rain means that the tap water is more likely to be au natural and from naturally occurring springs and stuff thus more like the bottle water you get in the store for ££££

Southern water typically is more likely to be less....natural due to either having to be piped in from the north or cleaned up through other means - so more chemicals - due to the much lower rainfall.

There's a difference?

(I only tend to drink water when I have to in order to take medication, find it too boring otherwise)

I can't speak for y'all but the Dutch water is better than the Belgian water

Edit: actually Scottish water was a lot better than English water, no matter how contradicting that sounds

One of the best (only good) things about living out on a peninsula like Cornwall is that the water is lovely, always good to drink whenever and basically very natural and barely different from bottled water. Hardly even in line with the rest of the south water, I've definitely noticed a huge difference when I've been in places like Bristol and Reading, that barely qualifies as drinkable.

Actually I guess that means... NORTHERN (assuming we're going with south is hard and north is soft). mellow.gif
