We were discussing this at work today and most of them said Monday, but I completely disagree. ohmy.gif

For me, Wednesday is by far the worst. You've been at work for half a week and still have the other to go. Monday's are fine for me because I've just had a chilled/fun weekend so it isn't as bad. Plus, I always feel my best physically on Monday's.

Tuesday is totes the worst. It doesn't have that Monday freshness and is still way too far away from the weekend.

Plus I often wake up in a Tuesday thinking its Friday and then get upset about it.

Yep, definitely Tuesday! With Monday, you've had the weekend to at least reset but Tuesday has had the day of work before and the weekend seems SO FAR AWAY. Wednesday is at least midweek so you're over the hump.

Thursday is just that day when you know you have a whole day before the weekend and it's the fourth day in a row you've been working. So probably Thursday.

Saturday > Friday > Sunday > Wednesday > Monday > Tuesday > Thursday

Yes, friday is better than sunday because after 1pm on sunday i feel completely DOOMED and it's the worst feeling ever

Thursday at the moment because it's my longest/most draining and stressful Uni day. I have a 9-5 news day but with commuting factored in, my alarm goes off at 6:30am. So I am a bit sleepy and it always feels like a slog. Cannae deal with some of the people on my course for that long

currently monday!! i have a 9am oral class which is throwing myself into the deep end every f***ing week as it throws me having to spend an hour conversing and listening only in german whilst i'm still barely awake. i then spend the day catching up on work for the rest of the week but can't even unwind because i have a 5-6 lecture which is also really philosophical and deep and i'm half dead and always so starving by this point. tuesday is great, i have a 9am but it's a two hour grammar class (which i usually enjoy), then can spend the rest of the day knowing i've got a day off on wednesday so the pressure to work is taken off a little bit!!! thursday is when i have my favourite class and then friday/sat are always gr8 obvs. sundays are let down by knowing that the death of monday is to come

Currently Tuesday partly for the reasons already listed and partly because I teach GCSE English resits all day today which is fairly tough on the best of days~ (though I have a lie in until 9:30 rather than my usual 7:30 which is something at least).

Honestly, Sunday's nice and all but the more it draws to a close, the more that horrible feeling of the start of the working week comes sad.gif

Monday's for sure. I'd have the day off, but having a Friday is more practical for me. So starting next week, Thursday's will be my new Friday.

I must say though, since changing my job and no longer hating life, the Sunday night doom is practically non-existent, so that's nice.

I hated Friday's until a few weeks ago when I finished uni, I would be in uni 9-3 then go work 5-10. Currently, it's Thursdays. It's that day where I do f*** all before work and feel sleepy lmao

I don't really have a worst day of the week to be honest, I'm just grateful for each day that I'm still alive and that is always my first thought when I wake up. The recent death of one of my neighbours who I've known for more than 15 years and who was a very well known and popular member of the community has reinforced this point of view.

I can say that Wednesdays used to be the day when I felt most tired during the times when I worked 9 AM - 5/6 PM for five days in a week.

With the shift work that I do, it's hard to single out a worst because I can be working any day and don't have the same kind of 'dread' about a Monday, or that 'Friday feeling' about the coming weekend.

If I'm working, Saturday can be very busy/hectic. But I'd probably say Tuesday on the basis that the way my roster works, it can be the start of seven consecutive lates.
