To paraphrase Jonathan Pie, Jeremy Vine may as well take out his paint roller and cover the whole country in blue.

Yeah sadly I think the Tories will take it. Just accepting that UK political outcomes are a mess right now, especially after Brexit.

Probably Tory, I know the forecast locally was all blue here in Norfolk. 74% chance of taking Norwich South and 100% of North Norfolk according to the local paper the other day.

Tories, but WHY I can't fathom. Maybe if the population of 18-25 year olds actually turn up this time Labour will have a chance...

We live in a world where self interests rule.

Labour is in a mess and is going to get completely wiped out in the election imo. Down to poor strategy, lack of liberal ideas and inadequate leadership. Shame as the Tories need some strong opposition to be put in place.

Labour are going get squirmed. My seat is traditionally a safe Labour seat, but I think it will be Conservative. That's because the Tories have a strategic plan and are targeting the seat. We voted heavily to remain and have Tories have gone with a very liberal EU/migrant friendly candidate.

You know things are shit when bloody Doncaster is likely to turn Blue.

It's infuriating how certain the Tories are that they have this (to be fair they probably do), they're even putting really shite stuff in their manifesto like "benefit cuts for the vunerable!!11!!" and "more internet censorship!1!!1" just because they know they can get away with it.

And of course it's full of the classic "strong and stable strong and stable and strong and stable and strong" -so saying nothing to fill up the paragraphs- when they're not talking about what kind of further damage they're going to inflict on the country they're writing meaningless drivel like university students trying to fill a word count. This is their mission statement from their official website:
QUOTE(Our Glorious Leader Theresa)
The next five years are the most challenging that Britain has faced in my lifetime.
Brexit will define us: our place in the world, our economic security and our future prosperity.
So now more than ever, Britain needs a strong and stable government to get the best Brexit deal for our country and its people.
Now more than ever, Britain needs strong and stable leadership to make the most of the opportunities Brexit brings for hardworking families.
Now more than ever, Britain needs a clear plan.
This manifesto, Forward, Together: Our Plan for a Stronger Britain and a Prosperous Future will meet the great challenges of our time, beyond Brexit.
With this plan and with a strong hand through Brexit, we will build a stronger, fairer, more prosperous Britain, for all of us.
No substance, just utter bullshit.

Skim reading the manifesto, sure some of it sounds ok, like raising the minimum wage for example (please stop calling it a living wage btw) but in that case it's too little too late, it's not matching inflation. I doubt they'll be able to implement the more optimistic deals they're proposing in regards to the EU either.

Labour's a mess (despite a really good manifesto) so my only hope is how fast the Lib Dems are growing, but they won't get more that 30 seats I wouldn't think. I have no idea why so many people are still voting Tory after all this time.

I couldn't stay up for the EU vote, so I'm intending to do so for this vote. Thankfully I'm due to be working from home on Friday.
