Just heard about this on the radio. Fears that the tower block is starting to crumble and could collapse. Harrowing event, hope everyone gets out safely and the fire is put out. sad.gif

This is horrific. It's almost impossible to believe it can happen with the various building regulations we have in this country. The figure of 30 people in hospital is worryingly low given the level of destruction sad.gif

I hope our Buzzjack friends in London are all well.

Horrific and just devastation.

The fire started at 12:45am apparently. Once again I'm stunned by another tragic event in the UK.

I don't live anywhere near there, so I'm fine - I hope everybody else in London is too, it's a very sad and horrific event.

I'm also very far away from there. Horrible news though, especially since the residents had complained about the safety of the building for years, in fear of something like this may happen.

It's horrific that something like this can happen in 2017 sad.gif There was clearly some serious negligence from a number of different bodies in the refurbishment of this tower. I hope the number of fatalities are as low as possible and those injured make speedy recoveries. So so sad sad.gif

Just been watching this on the news, absolutely heartbreaking to think about the people who have been affected, I can't imagine how it must feel to loose everything like that. So terrifying cry.gif

Wife works not far from there and she went with her employer to take some stuff to the council offices that they no longer need like blankets, towels, bedding and stuff that they buy in bulk like loo rolls, soap and toothpaste for people. So many homeless now and have lost everything and may have no insurance but at least they're still alive.
