hi.gif

Welcome to the RETURN omg so exciting of Haus Least Fave Lounge polls *_* This time, something very close to home, a poll of our favourite SCHOOL SUBJECTS! Ever wondered if BJ is full of arty, literature based types or more mathematical logical posters, are we scientists at heart or more into our spiritual sides? Let's find out *_*

Subjects included are those that make up the statutory secondary national curriculum (across key stages 3/4). So no Psychology and the likes which I know a few posters will be gutted about tongue.gif So yes, think back to school days (however long ago that might have been for some of us) and discuss your least favourite/favourite subjects over the course of the next few weeks! First round is multiple choice with TWO being eliminated gah x

While you deliberate, check out results from the previous two~

Only voting one, P.E.

I love teaching it now in Primary, but in secondary it was horrendous. Rugby on a muddy field in the freezing cold no thanks. And swimming / getting naked in front of peers no thanks. Sexist, misogynistic P.E. teachers no thanks. JUST NO sad.gif

Art was the DEVIL, although I did quite enjoy Design & Technology, particularly Food and Electronics but that's gonna have to be a sacrificial lamb for me.

Music as well was just dreadful. 30+ kids all 'playing' an instrument no thank you.

I will be gunning for ART in the next round. I have always been atrocious at it and it's just MESS EVERYWHERE :\

Should probably have Art and D.T. separate tbh unsure.gif Will split them next round if they survive magic.gif

I've played the cello for a while so safe to say I won't be choosing Music for a loooooooong time.

Went with History. Took an advanced placement class in European history and it was HELL ON EARTH.

For me, COMFORTABLY Art/DT. Though, most certainly leaning towards the latter. I've never been good at drawing or anything of that type but I seemed to break a saw just about every week in DT and it showed me up for my completely lack of masculinity right from the get go of Year 7. All the teachers seemed to assume that guys would be a natural of making some stupid wooden figure and I was completely useless.

I dreaded it each and every week and art wasn't much different because once again, all of the teachers seemed to just expect stuff of you rather than actually teach you and if you're shit at drawing, it's pretty hard to become... not shit at drawing, I can barely even draw a circle that looks circular. I'm not creatively minded in a sense of actually making something in the same way that I always have been when it comes to coming up with stories in English.

Both of these had no positive points for me whatsoever. Easy choice - rant over.

Maths is great sad.gif

PE for SURE, worst part of secondary school by a huge way (in primary it was one of my faves!) Literally every PE teacher I got in secondary school was some shouty 60 year old man who mocked anyone who wasn't skilled at football or rugby and didn't get everythkng straight away drama.gif Even the things that should've been fun like group games of rounders and Bench Ball were spoiled by those who treated it like an olympics tournament :') When I was 14 or 15 I had a 'rebellious phase' and went into town during PE for like ten weeks in a row and didn't get caught for a whole term, all my friends were in on it as well laugh.gif
