Next out, this humble music forum has voted out music itself :') But yes at school, our memories of the subject seem very similar. Sit around making a racket and loving the DJ button on the keyboard *.* It could've been quite a special subject, particularly if we learnt about music history or popular culture but as it is, it's really not the most loved on the forum.

Going for Science this time, as all the other subjects I enjoyed enough to take further (English Language/Humanities which is a combination of History and Geography/ICT and Spanish) and I loved Maths - whereas Science is not in the 'love' category when I think of school. I really enjoyed Biology but I wasn't quite as invested in Chemistry or Physics. Obviously Science is important and Chemistry and Physics lessons definitely did have their moments sometimes, but compared to what is left I felt like I enjoyed all the others more.

The ICT teachers at my school were seriously beyond incompetent though. I had not one but two different ICT teachers that could literally barely speak English (the first one ended up being fired, but her replacement was just as bad laugh.gif)

Gonna have to say History oops x (*is disowned by Iz*), I find the subject in general interesting but it was another case of half-arsed teaching and the same boring textbook questions that made it a bit of a chore. I'm pretty sure my teacher himself hated the subject so it was no wonder we all did kink.gif (plus Geography>>>>>)

My sister frequently had to help her ICT teacher with the software, and also once, when Ofsted were inspecting, she closed all the blinds and locked the door and told all students to be quiet and act like there was no one in the class so they didn't come in! laugh.gif

(Also the head of ICT was fired for helping a student cheat lol, it really was a shocking department. I was lucky that I had one of the few competent teachers, and I did enjoy the subject and found it hugely useful despite this so it gets a by~)

ICT was useful but we could have done far far more with it. I was left to pursue Advanced ECDLs on my own time once we did the basics and ICT stopped being a compulsory lesson and ended up teaching myself Excel wizardry (of which I'm only still an intermediate user). I hope it's being taught more rigorously now. So that. All the rest are valuable academic subjects and would be the right top 6.

Science. Say it's important all you want, doesn't make it any less boring or hard.

History, but purely down to my experience of it at my school rather than the subject in general.

Geography, interesting in essence but not great as a lesson imo (like history but I found that as a lesson better, it was more interesting).

IT wasn't THAT bad at my school, one of the teachers was kinda shit and another was lazy but it was my easy GCSE option really laugh.gif
