Randomly decided to do an IQ test today, and one day I'll probably be asked what mine is anyway tongue.gif

Apparently the Wechler IQ test is a popular one. I took the 30 min one and got the 132-135 range based off that quiz. Apparently getting 130 or higher is in the top 2% of the population which is something to boost my ego for now tongue.gif obviously I'll take several more tests, it's all just curiosity and fun anyway.

rofl I read that as "what is your ig" as in Instagram x

I've had results that were abnormally high and saying I'm a genius and this and that, but I wouldn't put too much weight on those tests. I might take this one later for fun though.

One issue I had with the iq mentioned in the OP is most of it is maths. That's one of the few subjects I actually excelled at so my results are probably not very reliable in terms of general intelligence, more saying how it good at maths I am laugh.gif perhaps a similar thing with you ohmy.gif

Which identical three-letter word, when placed in front of the following words, forms a new word?

BOY, HIDE, LICK, POKE, HAND

Not taken it but I'd probably get a reasonably high iq cos I'm good at maths but I don't believe there's a number you can put on intelligence, people are intelligent in different ways (and some aren't intelligent at all)

I hated this question, put cow anyway even though I've never heard of cow before the last three words.

The question about Phil and Tim's age though drama.gif I spent like 5 minutes on it before realising they want the current age LOL

and the family puzzlers, although that one wasn't as hard as others I've seen.

I came up with a score of 34, putting me in the 95th percentile, for an 'iq' of 127....not bad for an old man...

Just did that IQ test and got: "You scored a 47, which puts you in the 99th percentile. According to the WAIS, your IQ is 135 or greater" yassss *.*

(I got the cow one because cowlick came into my head immediately, yes, even before cowboy laugh.gif)

You scored a 37, which puts you in the 98th percentile. According to WAIS, your IQ is between 132 and 135.

I love problem solving of this ilk *.* I think the anagrams were the ones I deliberated on the most but I think I got them all, which surprised me as I usually am not great at anagram rounds on Pointless laugh.gif

34 so the 95th percentile so 127. I'm quite rubbish with most maths so I was always gonna suffer with that!

I wish there were answers as some of those questions were srsly stressing me out drama.gif I deliberated for ages over that 'put a word in front of these to form a new word', if it was cow, then that's news to me that some of those are words :x

Same. I would love to know what the techniques involved were in some of the questions, particularly the family member ones.
