Bit morbid I know as most of you are fairly young on here but none of us knows what's round the corner so which one song would you want played at your funeral?

Have told my wife and daughter that as my coffin goes through in the crematorium I want Stand By Your Man by Tammy Wynette played. No.1 for three weeks in May 1975, it's my fave song of all time by my fave singer of all time and not too long to bore everyone. Sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it. Over to you lot.

Yes, 18 months ago. People's minds may have changed since then though!

Still torn over Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata or Enigma - Sadeness Part I. Have hopefully (!) got a long time ahead of me before I have to properly think about this anyway. kink.gif

Can't understand people who have songs that are appropriate and amusing even if they're not really their favourites. Another One Bites The Dust, Fire and Going Underground are very popular apparently.

This is a little morbid, but I have thought of it before.

Cyndi Lauper - Above the Clouds is one I always thought would be nice.

A few songs before I've heard at funerals and now can't listen to at all because they remind me of them/

Disco Inferno by The Trammps is another good one, but only really works for cremations of course.
