Oh my! I can't believe it. Bruce has been a mainstay of prime time TV my entire life. I used to love The Price Is Right with the higher/lower oversized card deck. So sad sad.gif

Such sad news. Bruce always reminds me of growing up watching The Generation Game and Tonight at the London Palladium when I was a kid - and of course on Strictly too. Nice to have known you, to have known you nice. Sleep well Sir Brucey sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

I've split this as I think this is worthy of it's own thread!

I somehow never thought this would happen as he always seemed immortal. A lot of his shows were a bit before my time, but I obviously knew of him and his legacy. Huge loss to the entertainment world. RIP.

Bruce Forsyth's Generation Game was a major part of Saturday night when I was a child. I thought he was pretty ancient even then laugh.gif

Sad news but I knew this day was coming, he hadn't been well for a while sad.gif

Remember him fondly on Strictly and Bedknobs & Broomsticks.

When I was a child, Jim Davidson was doing the Generation Game laugh.gif but my parents used to talk about Bruce a lot.

RIP Bruce. Used to love watching his game shows when I was a kid and stayed at my grandparents at the weekends. He lived to a great age, but still such a shock to hear of his death cry.gif

So sorry to hear this sad news. He was a great all round entertainer. The weekends of 2/4 TV channels would have been dire without his talent and enthusiasm.
