In the singles chart it looks incredibly likely that Taylor Swift will have her first #1 single with 'Look What You Made Me Do', pushing Dua Lipa down to #2. Other new single releases come from 30 Seconds To Mars, Foo Fighers, Demi Lovato and Jorja Smith & Preditah though none are likely to make the top 40. Climbers into the top 40 may come from Avicii feat. Rita Ora and Portugal. The Man. The big contenders for the #1 in the albums chart are Queens Of The Stone Age with 'Villains', hopefully they can sell the 15k required to stop Ed Sheeran from having yet another week at #1 with '÷' by default. Also in contention for the albums chart top 40 are new releases from PVRIS, Fifth Harmony, The War On Drugs, XXXTENTACION, Lil Uzi Vert, The Cadillac Three, Shane Filan, BROCKHAMPTON and Action Bronson. Breakdown of the week - Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted. - Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm. - Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one. - Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed. - Thursday: See Tuesday. Other notes (please read) - You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod). - Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue. - Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. - To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads. |

Looking at Spotify I think Taylor and Dua have #1 and #2 locked. Hopefully Pink can climb to #3 this week also.

Hoping XXXTENTACION can make top 40, it'd be so deserved.

I've got hope for P!nk this week. Top 3 could have if she holds up this run on iTunes. I've got Feels and Friends running neck and neck not far behind.

The War on Drugs for #1 album please! Their previous album was certified gold so it's not impossible.

I'd think QOTSA will be the highest new album this week? Not sure they will prevent Ed having yet another low sales week at #1 though.

I can't believe it's taken this long for Taylor to get her first UK Number 1.
