I was talking to Lotti about like what it is about our physical appearance that usually gets noticed or complimented by people the most and I thought I'd make a thread, as you do.

For me it's usually my hair, sometimes my eyes but I think that's probs because of my eyeliner??? Idk wbu

((Sorry if this has been done before))

Ooh I had to have a real think about this. I think my best feature is probably my hair as well, just 'cause I like that naturally it's so thick, curly and also a pretty unique colour. A chestnut one that's predominantly brunette but has very slight hints of blonde and ginger mixed in that really come out in the sun. I'd say either my lips or eyes are what I get complimented on the most though.

I usually get a lot of people complimenting me on my eyes. Particularly when I wear my glasses because they're the same colour so it really brings the blue out in them.

My eyes and eyelashes, usually from girls who are jealous that mine are supposedly quite long? laugh.gif I've never seen my eyes as my best feature though.

I don't think I've ever actually been complimented on my appearance before by anyone laugh.gif

Personally though, I like that I'm quite smiley in real life. I've never liked my hair though really although I'm preferring it currently as it's not too long. It used to be really long and messy a couple years back drama.gif

Think I'm the exact opposite on this though, I personally like my hair, especially my fringe but I HATE my smile, I can't smile without looking really 'odd' in a sense - I think there's one photo of me I've been mildly satisfied with this year and the last time I actually 'liked" a photo of mine was 2009 tongue.gif

I absolutely hate my smile in photos most of the time laugh.gif My teeth have been nice and straight ever since I had braces, but I always think I look really awkward when smiling with them in photos. So I just settle for looking moody in photos most of the time~

I think i would look amazing if I didn't smile in photos but then I think everyone would just be like 'what' bc I'm the type of person you kind of expect to look happy in photos if you get me laugh.gif

Yeah, I don't particularly like my actual smile either. I never had braces which I regret because my teeth are a bit crooked which does make me self-conscious for sure but I rather like that I am a smiley person rather than moody or cold heehee.gif

I agree with your last bit tho, I was so much cuter as a child. What happened to us!? laugh.gif

omg I had braces as well but i feel like as a result my lips kinda look wonky if i smile with my teeth?? So I always have an awkward closed-mouth type smile going on laugh.gif

Probably my hair, especially since I had it dyed. When I first had it done about 12 months ago I posted a photo on Facebook and got about 30 likes (I don't have a lot of friends on there, and rarely get more than 10 likes on any photos I post). In April I also had a random lady in Manchester to stop me in Paperchase to tell me my hair was nice.

Maybe those two points don't sound like much, but when I went all through school being bullied because of my hair, its a big deal for me, especially when some of those Facebook likes came from old school friends smile.gif
