September is here (just about)...

This is always a pretty shitty month right? Usually just down to being back at uni or whatever which is definitely what's putting a dampener on things for me as I'm actually dreading it but thankfully I've got plans to go down as see Lotti from the 25th to the 29th and we're going to see Lorde in London with Liam during that week so that will be fun! At least I've got that to get me through the start of the month laugh.gif

What have you guys got going on?

EDIT - Oh yeah I've got 5 uni open days as well heehee.gif

Let's not dump on September please.

I actually enjoy going back to work. Start back Monday, the holiday gets a bit meh at this point. Got big challenges coming up as I officially start as Head of Year 10 next week! Lots of fun weekends planned too. Oh yeah, and my birthday is this month too...

Which open days are you going to if you don't mind me asking? ;o

Can't believe how quickly August went mellow.gif Anyway, starting off the month by spending a few days with Bray *.* shall take a trip to town and have a couple of nice meals over the weekend I'm sure. My biggest event in September is of course 2 weeks of work experience at Your Cat magazine! Travelling to Lincolnshire on 16th September and staying there until the 30th, really looking forward to the experience happy.gif Prior to that I'll just enjoy the remaining days of the holidays because I go straight back to Uni two days after work experience!

(also it's my dad's birthday this month so need to get thinking about present ideas)

Seeing The National this month but other than that, quite a quiet month fortunately.

Back to work next Wednesday after over 2 months off. I hope I remember how to audit again (not that I was able to when I was last in work mind...)

Also intent to start my new hobby of making scented candles next week. And tomorrow I head to Liverpool from Chester to see my wee brother. Unfortunately the trains are on strike, so it looks like a bus job for me.

Tell me about it. My birthday is the 28th and our school is holding its open evening that night drama.gif

So I'll be in school that day from 7:30am to 9:00pm most probably. Might not get to celebrate until October ohmy.gif

To be perfectly honest, I am ready for August/Summer to be over at this point.

Hopefully got a good amount of shifts scheduled for September because I really want to throw myself into this job and feel like I'm in the swing of things. The big grad scheme recruitment is also gonna be starting up pretty soon so best to make a headstart on all of that. Although after four years it's a relief to not be starting September with a big pile of stuff I need to do/read by a certain date as opposed to just...turn up.

I will hopefully finally have some work scheduled this month, two whole months of pretty much nothing but interviews and agency sign ups got slightly tedious after a while, I'm happy doing the supply and tutoring route (indeed I have a session booked for Sunday!) for now until I can find something more permanent later on.

I also have my mum's 60th Birthday party where she's inviting like the entire town, eep

Hoping things still go smoothly for me irl like they have for the last couple of months for the most part biggrin.gif I still need a job really so I can start to put things into motion for my ~future life plans~ magic.gif like moving out but volunteering doesn't pay the rent laugh.gif after a busy month and even though I love the summer I'm glad I can set aside more time for other more internal things like getting an official diagnosis hopefully some time this month.

Also traveling still sucks for concerts sleep.gif
