Did anyone catch this just now? Mitchell and Webb have reunited following the conclusion of Peep Show for a new series following a family whose father has passed away that is reunited with one of their many previous foster children. I probably haven't explained that very well but I very much enjoyed the first episode, some great one-liners and a couple of familiar faces from the UK comedy (and drama) scene appearing. |

Ooh I didn't know this had started! I saw the trailer and though it didn't look the MOST promising premise, I absolutely love Mitchell & Webb so I'll give it a go.

I laughed so hard at this week's episode. Really great comic timing, as ever. I'm not enjoying the flashbacks much though, this week's in particular was rather grim.

I want to like it more than I actually do. The flashbacks don't do it for me either.
I feel like I'd rather see a bit less of Mitchell & Webb (even though they're the reason I tuned in the first place) and and lot more of the Uncle (especially), and the other characters. The barmaid makes me laugh when she smiles and says ''Aww''. |

So, it ended last night.
I thought the guy playing Archie looked quite a bit like (a younger version of) the actor who plays the late father. It wasn't great though. Watchable, but no laugh out loud moments for me. |
