Mattias means "gift from God" and, as I've just found out, in some cases "tax collector of Yahweh" kink.gif

I found this little piece also and while I'm not sure how reliable it is lol, I just thought it rang pretty true: People with this name tend to be quiet, cooperative, considerate, sympathetic to others, adaptable, balanced and sometimes shy. They are trustworthy, respecting the confidences of others, and make excellent diplomats, mediators and partners. They are often very intuitive. They like detail and order, and often find change worrisome. They may sometimes feel insecure or restless.

Mine is something about an island of lime trees???

There are a shit load of spellings though but my parents chose Lindsey as it's the Scottish/feminine one apparently. Lindsay is usually used as a surname or for a guy. I like urban dictionary's definition better tbh

From the Greek name Φιλιππος (Philippos) which means "friend of horses", composed of the elements φιλος (philos) "friend, lover" and 'ιππος (hippos) "horse". This was the name of five kings of Macedon, including Philip II the father of Alexander the Great.

Yay

Middle name is thick brush and surname is an Anglicisation of an Irish surname meaning warrior or fighter.

Thomas/Tom means 'twin' in pretty much all languages. I'm actually the older brother of two twins!

As for my middle name, The name Francis is a Latin baby name. In Latin the meaning of the name Francis is: From 'franciscus' meaning Frenchman. S'il vous plait cool.gif

"Jade is a given name derived from the ornamental stone jade, which is used in artwork and in jewellery making. The name is derived from the Spanish piedra de la ijada, which means "stone of the colic." There was a belief that when jade was placed on the stomach, it could cure colic in babies."

Semi-precious supposedly life saving gemstone impact

My middle name:

"The name Lauren is a Latin baby name. In Latin the meaning of the name Lauren is: Of Laurentum. From the place of the laurel leaves. Can also be interpreted as the English version of the Irish name Lorcan: Fierce."

I am down with being a fierce leaf on top of this
