I had this thread idea in my back pocket a while ago and Wardy's thread yesterday reminded me of it!

So, coasters. Those handy things that prevent rings from drinks showing up on surfaces. Usually essential items in households. But what I want to know is whether any of you guys have any cool ones lying around the house?

I'll share a few of mine to get the ball rolling:

This is my favourite one that we have on display in the front room laugh.gif shockingly it isn't even mine, it's my mum's as she's a crazy cat lady too.

These two however are mine! I apparently have a penchant for retro looking food coasters. I am on the LOVE side with marmite and appreciate a good tea cake as well. They are displayed proudly in my room.

Share away! happy.gif

I was just thinking yesterday that I haven't had marmite in what is probably a couple of years now! Planning to go food shopping today so will defo pick up a jar, thanks for reminding! *.*

My mum makes her own coasters in her spare time from the materials she uses at work to make curtains lol. Here are two of many examples:

Love that Phil *.* will definitely have to get a keepsake when eventually going to Iceland, whether that be a coaster or keyring.

Slay Lotti! It was only a few pounds in the local garden centre, I sometimes go out for breakfast there and while my family spend ages looking at the plants I usually wander off and look at the random bits and bobs in there laugh.gif

I think the next one I want to buy is a music related one, maybe The Beatles or one in the shape of a vinyl. I love Wardy's name one though so I'd like something similar to that, although most searches for Jade coasters come up with the stone naturally kink.gif
