I've been dreaming a lot recently, or at least remembering them when I wake up more often that I did before. The dreams have been very weird, and I have had a sense of feel and smell in some of them.

So I ask, what are your most memorable dreams that have felt so real? By real I mean like you can remember being able to sense things as opposed to just 'seeing it'.

Or are you the type of person to not remember dreams at all?

Discuss!

Waking up in an HMV record store filled with lots of vinyl and there were no doors or windows. All I remember was the room, the crate digging, the colour of the wall and ceiling and the cover to Teenage Fanclub's Bandwagonesque

Iíve had loadsss of dreams where I just dream about waking up and getting out of bed and brushing my teeth like normal and stuff like I would if I had actually woken up and then I wake up in the middle of it completely disorientated and confused and I repeat what I just did in the dream but in real life. Idk if that makes sense?

Iím never sure if having dreams that feel real is preferable to lucid ones? Either one has pros and cons. thinking.gif

All my dreams have felt real. I don't have / remember them as often nowadays though which makes sleeping a less interesting experience. I've heard that vivid or detailed dreams can result in you waking up not feeling quite rested though.

Real life doesn't always feel real.

All my dreams feel real until I wake up and realise I was dreaming. I think only once ever did I realise I was dreaming and managed to take control of a scary situation shortly before waking up.

Just awoke from what felt like a real dream at the time. I dreamed I was learning to ice skate and then the dream turned to me trying desperately to find a holiday gift for my Mum but I couldnít decide what to get her.

i have those all the time. when i wake up i just want to go back. but then 6 minutes later i forget what i even dreamt about and everything returns back to normal.

speaking of dreaming so many times i made myself wake up because i didn't like the dream or i realised i was dreaming. it's weird to know you're dreaming while still sleeping. also i usually manage to continue seeing the continuation of a dream if i wake up and it ends on a cliffhanger by going back to sleep fast. it even happened TWICE one night. not even kidding

While I won't go into details I am curious if anyone has severe reoccurring dreams? I've had a couple particular dreams that have gone on for YEARS and it's not always a regurgitation of the same thing over and over but like a never-ending continuation.

I really need to write it all down. Maybe it's meant to be a book or film.

Not for years, but I did have dreams that my fish tank would smash, as well as dreams that I was back at high school and being late for lessons, so often that I'd realised I was in a dream since the dreams happened so often so I just stopped getting stressed out laugh.gif

Pete's fish tank again! laugh.gif

I've had recurring dreams before, I remember one in particular I used to have where I was walking on one of the roads near my childhood home. Every time I started to approach a particular house, I could no longer keep walking, I tried but it was just like on the spot ohmy.gif
