Always thought it was overrated but had some relatives over from Italy for the weekend and took them there rather than cook and for 7 of us it was just under 70 which wasn't bad. Got several sharing platters and sides and there was more than enough. Their chips are excellent but I ate far too many and felt ill all night. sad.gif Everyone had finished though and I don't like to waste food. biggrin.gif Chicken always seems to be spot on and neither undercooked or burnt. sad.gif Love their bottomless drinks too. Fanta for me!

Do you like Nandos?

Tell you what, it was packed and we'd to wait for a table yet Bella Italia next door was empty.

Nando's is so amazing. I crave a cheeky Nando's tbh. Maybe sometime this month.

This is exactly what I imagine Nandos to be like. And is also why I will never go. That and being vegetarian.

Without Googling, does anyone know where the first Nandos opened? Which country? Was on a quiz show and no-one got it right. Meet up with me for a free Nandos for anyone who gets it right. ohmy.gif

All generations go. There was an old man about 70 eating alone. I'd be rather self-conscious.

Honestly it's not haha. They have really nice chips, garlic bread, spicy rice and the like (and I imagine other vegetarian options).

Oh we got some spicy rice but didn't get to try it as the bowl was empty when I got to it.

I like it but it's so overpriced - you can buy the sauce yourself and it'd taste exactly the same for like 3, but I guess I'm just a moaner when it comes to this haha.

A woman on DS forums said in a Nandos thread there that she never buys the sauces as she nicks a full or almost full bottle every time she goes. mad.gif

South Africa I believe was the first. And I've eaten one there - as well as lemon & herb and mango & lime they did a tangy tomato flavour, was bliss!
