I've had one every year for a loooong time now (due to my asthma), and I've never actually had flu, so I'd say it works! Or I've just managed to avoid it laugh.gif

I get one free with my work (yay Bupa) and I usually get it every year but I didn't last year when I had it done, so I guess it works?

Itís not 100% effective because it only covers certain strains of the flu that the big Pharma companies think will be the threats this year based on research and evidence. Usually they cover most of the strains but a few can sneak on by.

Iím no longer asthmatic so no longer qualify for free under the NHS so donít get it but I have in the past

That reminds me I need to have mine. Get a free one as I'm diabetic. Been told the wife does too as she's a nanny.

I have had the flu jab for some years and have not had flu in that time so it works for me as well.

I think I could get a free one through work too but I don't remember ever having a flu jab (maybe when I was really little but not during recent memory). I don't recall ever catching the flu either.

I've never had a flu jab. I can be frighteningly dim, but I genuinely thought they were only for the elderly. My parents had them, and I've never heard of anyone else having them, so maybe that's why I thought that ? huh.gif

I don't get the jab as I'm not in a high-risk category for getting one.

I have relatively bad asthma so flu can be life threatening for me!
