Neither have I. Impossible stories eh... A couple of months ago I was buying CDs and later on I found that the woman had put a fidget spinner into the bag with the albums lmao. I guess that's just what they do in that store. I still haven't opened it.

actually I did hold one before but didn't spin it

They're overrated, I spun a guys at uni (idk how else to word that to make it sound better mellow.gif) and it's very much a "oh is that it?" thing. Although Lush have a fidget spinner bathbomb that actually spins so that's kinda cool and Fall Out Boy have just released one with a Bluetooth speaker as part of their new album merch laugh.gif

I honestly hate fidget spinners and I don't see the point in them so that thread title fits me perfectly ~

Suppose it's to 2017 what Tamagotchis were to 1997 (or 'Virtual Pets' as everyone actually called them at the time), Yo-Yos to 1998, and those mini-scooter things to 2000ish.

Can't wait for the ironic hipster revival in 2037 when they start selling for three times as much.

The f***ing BANE of my life, confiscated so many. Fed up of being told 'it helps me concentrate' no it f***ing does not because all your concentration is on the 'fun' spinny thing. Get a proper fidget toy and we'll talk.

Having said that, the craze seems to be dying down.

I don’t get it. Like i understand that there are a small group of people that this is super beneficial for, but I don’t get the appeal for everyone else

I can get the appeal, it's basically kind of like a spinning top or something like that where the interest is seeing how long you can spin it for... and I should answer the initial question and say I have used one of these, my godchildren have them so we played the see who can spin one on their nose for the longest game. I won't lie, it was entertaining and kinda fun.

It's just one of those crazes, like Loom Bands were a couple of years back and GoGos before that. (I've still got a box with about 300 gogos in it oops laugh.gif ) I never really understood why people were so obsessed with Fidget Spinners but if everyone I knew had them I'd probably want to start collecting.

My nose is too flat to spin a fidget spinner on and yes I’ve tried

I only recently realized that Wham's Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go could possibly be interpreted as a reference to go-go dancing! kink.gif
