That's sad you can't afford a nice fish and chips.

Do you eat lots of healthy stuff too, commonsense?

Had six lovely big fish fingers yesterday, about an inch thick, cod fillet, reduced from £3 to 50p in Asda on Sunday.

Had broccoli with them and beans earlier so yes I try to have some fruit and veg. It's not so much that I can't afford them but I resent paying £6 for a fish. rolleyes.gif

Got the Extra Strong 2 garlic baguette packs in Tesco and had it with tomato soup for lunch. Lovely on Halloween.

Ooh got some in the fridge and soup in the cupboard. Was it Tesco tomato soup? That's the best. Far better than Heinz and 45p compared to 89p.

Home-made? I make my own: 500g Minced lamb (nicer than beef!), one chopped onion and loads of chopped garlic. Tin of chopped tomatoes, tin of Tesco red kidney beans in chilli sauce and pinch of extra chili powder. Oh add some frozen peas too. Lovely.
