yo sushi is my FAVOURITE place to go out and eat, it's so quick to just be able to sit down and pickup what you want and even if you want to order food not on the belt it never takes too long! it's always so easy to try new things there and I love how you can eat as little or much as you want. my all time favourite dish is of course the spicy chicken sushi but the furikake fries are life changing, as .is the beef teriyaki!

before the hoards of RAW FISH IS GROSS ppl come pouring in, up until like two weeks ago i refused to eat fish (and only now am slowly getting into it!) so there really is something for everyone- don't be put off!!

I love Yo Sushi wub.gif

I tend to find it a little bit on the overpriced side though, Wasabi is better imo.

Actually, sushi doesn't refer to raw fish, it instead refers to the way that the rice is prepared (vinegared rice). Sashimi is the name used for raw fish.

*takes know-it-all hat off*

Yo Sushi is absolutely incredible, and I always try to make a visit there whenever I'm on away work. My faves include the beef teriyaki, the dumplings, and the Strawberry Mochi, which is one of the nicest deserts I've ever tasted.

absolutely love their katsu curry - I do like going and getting the odd bits and bobs but I usually end up just succumbing to a sumo bowl of that and be done with it!!!

Does anyone else hate at people who get something off the conveyor belt before you have chance to? SO ANNOYING.

I know you can order whatever you want at any point but that just isn't the same as playing the conveyor belt game.

The worst feeling is when you miss the item you want on the conveyor belt by a few seconds, then you need to wait 5 minutes for it to come back around the belt again, as they've only made 1 of them.

There is actually a similar sushi place about an hour from where I live: it’s called Kula Sushi, it’s conveyor belt operated for the most part, and I’m in absolute LOVE with their udon.

OMG YES.

Especially as I'm a pesky veggie so I have limited selection in the first place so it's almost HEART STOPPING watching the dish go round. I have particular hatred for meat and fish eaters who steal my avocado maki rolls, vegetable gyoza or pumpkin fritters.

I've only ever got it on Deliveroo but the katsu curry >>>>>>>>>

Sushi is so good though, it's vile on paper but actually tastes so nice! I don't really tend to eat "proper" fish (as in like not battered or like the frozen breaded stuff or fish fingers) but I'll glady eat my body weight in sushi lmao

I love sushi but don't think I would have sushi again because the links of raw fish to parasites have kind of put me off sad.gif I know its probably rare though.

EDIT: Read an article about it saying that most sushi in restaurants is probably safe because of the type of fish and also that it has been usually frozen for several days at -20 degrees Celsius which kills the parasite. So I might try it again! cheer.gif
