Not sure why it took me so long to make a topic about FM-84! But I have been inspired today as 450 limited edition vinyl copies of 'Atlas' went on sale and I managed to get one. FM-84 is a synthwave producer who resides in the US and I have fallen in love with his stuff over the past year! 'Arcade Summer' was sent by me to BJSC and came 9th + Dan sent 'Running In The Night' to a BJSC spinoff and won with it! Are you guys a fan of what you've heard? 'Arcade Summer' is honestly one of my favourite instrumentals in recent times would recommend if you're a fan of The Midnight. |

I loved both BJSC entries by him so got the album and I felt like I was listening to the soundtrack of a classic 80s film all the way through, rlly wonderful stuff. Clearly a producer I should look out for more.

Clearly a producer I should look out for more. I am a sucker for synths anyway but the timeless feeling of his material particularly draws me in as well. definitely, can't wait for a follow-up album! Thanks for making this thread. Really like retro music, romantic and joyful. No problem whatsoever, was hoping that someone would make a discovery or two from this <3 |

I might go ahead and listen to this album cos obviously 'Arcade Summer' got my top points in BJSC (and I think I gave some "middle" points to the spin-off winner) and I do really like this kind of music as well Just haven't heard that much of it tbh. There's something relaxing yet moving about it.
Have you heard of Kalax, Jade? I fell in love with his music late last year, it's also synthwave *.* He has a few albums but I've only heard one (self-titled) so far. I do kinda associate you with synthwave lmao |
