I really hope Redbone can win Record Of The Year, astonishingly produced, written and performed song wub.gif I'm surprised he got the big nominations of Record and Album but I'm so pleased! I wouldn't be too put off at Gambino snatching album either, but of course that belongs to Melodrama. The actual album of he year (well, of eligible ones anywya, Reputation >>>) being nominated *.*

New Artist is easily SZA plz as fab as Alessia is. and Song HAS to be 1-800-255-8255, seldom has a song hit and resonated with me so much, I struggle not to tear up with each listen, such a huge and important song wub.gif Issues is one of my songs of the years too and is written so well so soz Julia x

I am rooting for a 'Melodrama' win in the album category too #let'sgoladies. THAT is how you do a sophomore album folks. It would be wonderful if '1-800-255-8255' could take home the title of best song too because I can't remember the last time a piece of music affected me so much emotionally.

Since probably no one else will, I'll go to bat for Jay-Z and say that "4:44" is totally worthy of these accolades. After years of fumbling and failing to live up to his legacy with lackluster projects, he put out this tight, cohesive album that has him back on form in a big way. The title track especially is really well written and makes for a great second perspective after Beyonce's "Lemonade", where Jay bears his soul, admitting his mistakes and considers the implications of them. It's raw and quite the opposite of what we're used to from Hov, whose hits often just end up being about how great he is.

Those are such bizarre selections particularly for Record and Song. Despacito, Humble, That's What I Like and 24K Magic the only real big inescapable hits of the year on either list - what about all the #1s there's been?

Would expect Kendrick to take Album.

Redbone was huge in America and was all over the internet, its not just about being a #1 or there'd be so much shite lmao

Really hope Lorde can take AOTY but I get the feeling she won't and it'll go to either Jay or Kendrick (both of which I'd be happy with as well not that I've heard the albums oop).
