I do. Come on guys now, don't be ashamed to admit if you love flowers too. A true wonder of nature. I bought a big bunch of red spray chrysanths last Monday, 50p instead of £4 and expected them to not last long. They're still going strong and nearly all out now and look lovely. My mum said I used to pick flowers from my gran's garden and take them home.

I didn't know it was shameful for guys to admit they like flowers thinking.gif

I do love flowers anyway though I do avoid getting to close in the summer in case my hay fever flares up, African Violets, tulips and water lilies are lovely <3

I like flowers, especially wildflowers like the poppy and the big daisy type ones (rayed mayweed it is called) rather than the planted types.

Never had a love of flowers, and know next to nothing about them. I don't know my astrantia from my aloe.

Aloe needs a dollar, astrantia doesn't.

Think I'll buy a Christmas plant today. Think it's called a poinsetta. I like those miniature rose plants too.

Just saw a wildflower called rayed mayweed today when walking to work (don't be confused by the name, I wouldn't say it was a weed), still in flower this time of year ohmy.gif , wish I had it in my garden! Mayweed looks like this, flowers are like daisy flowers but much bigger!

The poppy flowers I saw about a week ago were also still in flower this time of year ohmy.gif Wildflowers do tend to have longer flowering seasons than planted ones!

TIP. Always put a spoon of sugar in to the water in a flower vase and stir it so it dissolves somewhat. Won't dissolve fully in cold water. Makes flowers last longer. Old wives tale but seems to work!
