We seem to be seeing an increasing number of surprise results - what would you say are the main reasons for it?

I think the shorter matches make a big difference. In a match over two (or more) sessions it is more likely that the better player will win.

Shorter matches, the amount of tournaments they are now. From only 6 in 2008 and to 25 now it has been great for the game.

I think unpredictability is a good thing.
