Food shopping or present buying?

The food shop I'll probably do at around midnight/1am tonight (when the store is nice and quiet) - presents were mostly bought at the start of the month or whenever I had the time.

Very early. I picked up things when they went on sale in June, October, Black Friday, and basically finished first week of December, all wrapped by the second.

It varies wildly, but this year I started in early November and had finished by last week. I had 22 people to buy for, three of which also have birthdays in the week surrounding Christmas, so I have to really plan ahead both financially and in terms of thinking of ideas.

Yah, it actually varies for me a LOT too - last year I almost gave up wrapping on Xmas Eve and in fact still had to wrap a couple on the Christmas morning before getting up drama.gif

I've still not bought anything for my mum (or Joseph although Brade are both sorted now lol) because I haven't come up with any ideas that seem as big or as special as what I've bought previously. In years gone by I've got her a ticket for Queen/Adam Lambert and had a tshirt printed with her picture with Sam Smith on the front. As a last resort I may go to Hotel Chocolat and purchase an expensive box of chocolate

Is there all the usual things available that late on DB?

Morrisons, does nobody else have their main supermarket go 24/7 at Christmas?

Although just checked and they are not 24/7 this year and closed at midnight so I'll probably have to go at the ridiculously EARLY time of 11pm. All the shelves are pretty well stocked and there is nobody about!
