Mine would be Christmas Eve as everyone goes to bed - I usually watch Santa Claus The Movie as a tradition with some pringles and a coke and the fire juts starting to die! Best moment of the season for me!!

I like a cold and frosty Boxing Day walk with the family, especially if it has snowed - probably Christmas 2000 was the best for that, there was around 10cms on the ground and it was beautifully sunny. I missed out on Christmas 2010 because I was working that day and by the time I got home on the 27th there was a rapid thaw taking place with horrible mild southerly winds and fog/drizzle hanging over the fields.

Yeh love that myself - 2010 was a wonderful winter and Christmas but as you say the winter wonderland thawed quickly as the winds changed - xmas eve night was minus 15 or something - would love that this year except it'll be mild like this week up until xmas morning before colder north westerlies strike later in the day in the north of the uk!

Yeah, I like late night Christmas Eve as well. Of course I love Christmas Day itself but it just goes TOO fast! I think I'm always happiest staying up late Christmas Eve, knowing there's still a whole day to look forward to, and sometimes doing very last-minute gift wrapping tongue.gif

I love all of it if Iím enjoying myself. Didnít enjoy Christmas Day last year because the whole family came round to my mums and she didnít get time to enjoy herself. Avoiding that this year because theyíre all coming to mine on Christmas Eve instead.

Generally I love a night in on Christmas Eve watching films/tv Christmas specials (call me 70, but the Good Life wub.gif )

I love going to my parents Christmas morning and opening presents whilst having croissants and Bucks Fizz. I love having Christmas Dinner, never a let down. Love Doctor Who, Eastenders and all the Christmas films. I love boards games and having lazy days where you really can forget all other pressures.

Love my holidays.

Sounds fab and yes your mum should be able to relax!

I love the old music as Shaky said - all those old songs we love to hear, sums it up - it's about looking back and keeping traditions goin and then looking forward into the new year for a fresh challenge.

Family present opening is my favourite part followed by eating Christmas dinner while watching Christmas TV as my second favourite part.

When I was a child, Christmas Eve night and waking up in the morning to presents before opening them used to be my favourite part of Christmas.

That's a term the Daily Mail likes to use a lot, along with 'nanny state', 'BBC bias' etc.

My favourite part of Christmas is also the present opening with my family! It is quite a magical experience when we're all up early and feeling excited about what we have all received. It is priceless to see everyone's reactions to their gifts. I enjoy the food but not as much as your average person due to being fussy, then there are good moments of Christmas TV but it can also be underwhelming at points of the day.

I assume Top Of The Pops is amongst your Christmas viewing, as it is for most Buzzjackers I assume!

My mum usually likes watching the Top of The Pops on Christmas Day, so I assume me and my family will be watching it!

Omg completely agreed with this!

The gift giving is the most magical part and there are moments which are a little boring tbh. Doctor Who, except that superhero episode, is alwas an IKONEK part of course.
