Since it is the end of year and especially for holiday seasons, I always like to sit and think of things I am grateful for.

I am grateful for having such a lovely and caring husband who is always so supportive in good and in bad, also I'm grateful for overcoming my mental health issues (it's been a month since I am off pills) and for bringing Cairo into our life.

After spending last Christmas in hospital, I'm grateful to be back in reasonably good health. I have the NHS to thank for that.

I am grateful for today being the first Xmas Day that I can remember which *touch wood* hasn't devolved into any nasty family arguments. We made it through dinner which is usually the worst part, hopefully I can just relax for the rest of the day. magic.gif

I am super grateful to be able to spend Christmas day surrounded by my parents, brother and cat, with a roof over my head. My brother and I may now be 19 and 20 respectively, but my parents still try and make it a really exciting day for us all and I will always appreciate the effort. <3

I still really miss the lack of my great grandma at Christmas, but with loss comes gratitude for the people you do still have in your life.

After seeing a close friend lose their nan over Christmas, I've been really thankful to still have mine who is almost like my best friend. I used to complain that I found Christmas really boring and I don't enjoy spending time with my family that much, but today has been really lovely and I'm going to try and spend much more time with my family from now on.

Aww Addy, of course. </3 I really admire your attitude towards this, stay strong wub.gif

Jack I feel you. Today has made me realise how much I often lock myself away and take for granted how much of a strong family unit I have. Will definitely make more time for them even when life in general bogs me down a bit.

I'm grateful for having a complete family unit who have stayed together for all my life. I'm also grateful for having parents that have treated me as an equal human being ever since it was possible to do so, and however much I disliked school, I'm grateful that I've had teachers who actually taught me the course so I was able to get decent grades.

You took mine tongue.gif I finally seem to have found a medication that works and I can stay on long term so I'd say my health has been good since May which is the longest I've avoided a bad spell for since mid-2015

Also grateful for some great friends, having developed a new, non-online based social circle this year. I'm thankful for being in a good, well paid job that gives me the income to do what I want such as adding Sweden and Norway to the list of places I've visited this year.
