not too sure how many ppl on buzzjack are remotely interested in fashion but WHAT SHOES DO YOU LIKE/HAVE/WANT TO ACQUIRE?

i'm a huuge fan of vans & converse rn, the vans collab with Peanuts is amazing and i'm deffo going to try and get all four pairs in the collection.

got these yesterday too, what a fab colour <3

so over to you, what shoes do you wear and do you have a collection of 'em, or do you just see them as functional?

I'm pretty obsessed with Vans too lol, bought these the other day: https://www.vans.co.uk/shop/en-gb/vans-gb/c...59-shoes-8fsmmk

I definitely don't see them as functional, but I'm too broke to have a collection soooo

I have a pair of shoes for work then a pair of Adidas for every day use. I’d rather buy something else.

I have issues with Shoes. Not in a hippy I don't wear shoes kind of way, but because I find it nearly impossible to actually buy shoes that fit. Men's shoes pretty much cease at a size 12 which is a real issue when you're a 14! I find Nike pretty much the only option for me and even then it's scarce and only on certain lines in certain colours I can get them.

I bought these the other day in the sale and I can't wait for them to arrive!

I have like 15 pairs of shoes right now

2 pair for the gym
1 for outside running
4 pair of casuals for winter/spring/fall
1 pair to wear with my suit
4 pair for going out (2 for winter, 2 for summer)
3 pair of summer shoes

I may or may not have issues

I'm a huge fan of Vans atm too, I've only got a couple of pairs of authentics rn, a grey and black pair and a black and white pair but i love them so much, i wear them mostly except I've been living in black boots lately because of the weather. I have a pair of black converse and a burgundy pair, both high tops but they're not as comfy as my vans so i dont wear them that much. I don't really have going out shoes although i got a pair of cheap boots recently that are grey kinda metallic looking suede that I'll probs wear out tomorrow night since they match my dress *.*

I had these ones for christmas so they are my most recent pair:

I pretty much love the shape of them and the fact they are reasonably good at going with both casual and smarter outfits. I have quite a few pairs of them actually, not sure how many in total but definitely also have them in white, grey, orange and blue.

The other favourite pair at the moment is these:

These are the PS 'Rappid' trainers and are far and away the most comfortable pair of trainers I own... I also have them in navy/burgandy but the pair above are my favourites.

As for the general question in the opening post, I absolutely have a collection of them haha! They are all still in their boxes to save them getting dusty and are stacked in a spare room. I tend to like having different coloured ones and will completely overthink which pair I should be wearing every morning, often getting a couple of pairs out before deciding which look best in the mirror. About this time last year I'd say Common Projects were my brand of choice but, as you'll guess from the above, I've taken to getting Paul Smith these days as I have less free time and know his clothes and footwear are pretty reliable - plus to be honest, they feel a safe bet that won't make me look too old or make me look like I'm trying to still dress like I'm in my 20s!

Ooooooooo and also PS do shoes in TEAL!!!!!!!!

I just want shoes that don’t make holes in themselves so quickly laugh.gif (unless the shoe brands are associated with the car brands in order to get people to buy cars thinking.gif #stopcausintheconsp

Triggered as I’ve bought shoes from both those places in like the last month (primark woman’s boots are actually amazing and last so long) ((I only buy cheap shoes for work bc they get destroyed so easily))

Normally tho I wear either converse, vans or dr martens

The grey boots i mentioned are from primark but i legit bought them on impulse and to go with a specific outfit so its not like theyre every day shoes:')

Have to say that there are people who genuinely can't afford £55 for a pair of shoes... I can totally understand why people would prefer to get cheaper shoes for tasks they don't care about or if they can't easily afford to replace them.

this !! idgi how people can just have one or two pairs of casual shoes - what if they don't go with the outfit you're wearing? nothing worse than having some dodgy colour coordination going on imo

i mean if you CAN afford a decent pair of shoes they work out cheaper in the longterm 'cause u don't have to keep replacing them wink.gif

obvs if u have no choice then that's a different story
