2022 so far...

Alex Rider [series 1-2]
Ant & Dec's Limitless Win [series 1]
Beat the Chasers [specials]
Coronation Street
Doctor Who [special]
Dragons' Den [series 19]
EastEnders
Emmerdale
Michael McIntyre's The Wheel [series 2]
Mrs. Brown's Boys [special]
Nancy Drew [season 3]
RuPaul's Drag Race [season 14]
Superman & Lois [season 1 episodes 6-8]
Supernatural [season 2 episodes 12-14]
The Apprentice [series 16]
The Masked Singer [series 3]
The Weakest Link [series 1]

Mostly reality/game shows and soaps so far. Still slowly but surely working my way through Supernatural and I've stayed with the BBC1 pace for Superman & Lois so far (despite the temptation to binge!). Instead of starting something new on Netflix, I've found myself rewatching Teen Wolf season 5! laugh.gif tearsmile.gif

January 2022

All of Us Are Dead
Fear the Walking Dead (Season 6)
Fear the Walking Dead (Season 7)
The Morning Show (Season 2)
Trigger Point
Yellowjackets

Notes:
All of Us Are Dead - Episodes 1-10 (I saw 11 & 12 in February)
Fear the Walking Dead - Season 6: Episodes 12-16 (I watched 1-11 in 2021) | Season 7: Episodes 1-8
Trigger Point - Episode 1 (I saw Episode 2 in February)
Yellowjackets - Episodes 8-10 (I watched 1-7 in 2021)

------

Mild spoilers ahead!

All of Us Are Dead - for the most part, I found this Korean Zombie series to be very thrilling. The show is near constant action, scares, tension, gore... if that's your sort of thing, I'm sure you'll enjoy it too. However I do think an episode or two could have been cut without losing too much of importance to the storyline; 12 one hour episodes is quite demanding and there was a point about 2/3rds of the way through where my attention started to drift to checking my phone rather than being glued to the TV screen. However, the last 2 or 3 episodes caught my attention again. Overall though, it's a thumbs up from me.

Fear the Walking Dead has definitely become a hate watch... Season 7 has been such a chore! Particular characters have had their personalities change in such a jarring way, and their actions are pretty unbelievable compared to what they were like years ago. It's definitely a case of bad writing rather than it being character development. Forgetting the fact that zombies are unrealistic, there's just so many other aspects to this show where you have to completely your suspend disbelief. One major example being that they can constantly use walkie talkies no matter where they are, which is a lazy plot device. I feel like I have to see this show through because I've come so far with it, so I was honestly a bit dismayed to see that a Season 8 is confirmed. kink.gif

The Morning Show (Season 2) - this was quite a mixed bag. I mostly enjoy it for being completely over the top and quite camp. Bradley and Alex are great characters... together, and sadly so much of Season 2 had them apart from each other! I do wish this show had not gone in the direction of incorporating the start of Covid into the storyline though. They really went all in with Covid towards the end of the season, and honestly who really wants to re-live 2020? I didn't find it entertaining. Unfortunately it resulted in a final episode that I found bad and quite exasperating. There's a whole lot of Alex, who was ill with covid, doing a live stream... it was all a bit silly and the scenes only made her character more unlikeable, though I suspect the writers thought it was very triumphant. However for me it just fell flat. Let's say I'm not feeling desperate for a Season 3.

Trigger Point - meh... I'll stick with it, but for a show dealing with explosives, it's surprisingly bland viewing!

Yellowjackets - I loved this show, it's absolutely barmy and addictive! It's kind of like a cross between Lost, The Wilds and Desperate Housewives - not precisely like them, just aspects from each. It's a very intense and exciting series. It's a survival show with an indication that supernatural forces are at play.

I'm really liking Yellowjackets too so that's four of us *. I read Lord of the Flies recently so I was really eager to see it reimagined and with a Lost-esque twist to it is even better.

Can't remember when I last posted in here, but new ones recently include Archive 81, Orphan Black (up to Season 2 now), Cowboy Bebop & Hellbound.

Haha will do, I've generally loved it so far (thanks to a few people on here for the recommendation) - especially series 1, I've been reading more than watching TV at the moment but will stop neglecting my Netflix subscription soon laugh.gif

I'd never heard of the lead actress before, but I'm amazed how many characters she's managing to play and for none of them to feel like another! That's a once-in-a-career performance.

Absolutely, the fact she plays Alison, Cosima and Helena and all are totally different and yet feel entirely natural is quite something.
