For me, those two sisters singing those stupid songs on the Nationwide adverts.

Nationwide just keep pushing those bloody singing sisters down our throats! Sure each one gets worse as well like they know we all hate the ads and are just trying to annoy us all! Well surely they don't think anyone actually likes them do they??

Hungry House with the two giggling pillocks singing about chow mein.

Which advert that you have seen this year that has been awful and incredibly cheesy.

Which have been yours?

Nationwide adverts have been awful for a long time with annoying poets and singers. It makes Go Compare's opera singer not seem that bad after all.

Admiral have started playing that awful ad again with that dressed up Admiral proclaiming 'its all about the customer' or something to that effect.

The KFC dancing chicken is in very poor taste I think, although i haven't seen that one on the TV in a long time.

The oral b 3d white toothpaste ad. Yes we get it you don't need a filter to make your teeth whiter (particularly when they're already perfectly white in the first place).

I can't stand those sisters either. I only have tv at work and they're always on every ad break, jesus. It's like the pinnacle of random!stuff that has nothing to do with what's actually being advertised.

I mention this as there is a certain brand of alcohol that has done it over the past year or so in their adverts, but any brands that use equality and social issues in their adverts to promote their brand is seriously offputting sad.gif I know equality and social issues are very important but it shouldn't be something used to promote a product imo sad.gif

.... Really??? Jesus christ.

Why not? Smirnoff is a popular brand doing all they can for gay rights, more brands should care and do that tbh. It's no different to a celebrity using their voice for good.

I suppose so, and I assume Smirnoff have the best intentions, but just personally, I just feel a little bit uncomfortable about promotion of important social issues being done in association with any product.

I shouldn't have put in this thread for 'the worst adverts' on reflection though! Probably should have put my comment in the 'Smirnoff Equaliser' thread.

I can’t remember what it’s for but there is a man on the phone to call centre man and he says “if you do all that my son....” then the call centre man is like “erm...okay”

I’ve repressed it as it’s upsetting.

Also the nationwide advert. The number 1 fan one is even worse than the original.

It's for Plusnet tongue.gif

The current Diet Coke one is quite awful. "If you want a Diet Coke, have a Diet Coke".

Actually have changed my opinion, the present Smirnoff one is good enough! What I didn't like was their one with the white man in the afro dancing last year.

You're being deliberately contrarian here for the sake of it.

The worst thing about it is that it's the first time for as long as I can remember that Irn Bru have had a bad ad campaign out. They're usually so on point
