I guess yeah if you want it and are suffering a lot.

In some counties it is legal for highly depressed people who donít improve

I doubt it'd be allowed here for depression alone, since that is not technically a terminal illness.

If you are of sound mind, and there is no way you're going to get better, I don't see why it should be up to the government or anyone outside to decide that.

Yeah I know but I was just sharing that fact as a comparison for what some countries do, I saw a documentary about it. It is quite rare though and they need lots of proof that the mental health hasnít improved

Not keen on the idea of euthanasia, it's a slippery slope. People could be coerced/ manipulated into it, someone suicidal might try using it as a way out instead of getting help, it might start with terminal illness and expand to include people who are living with disabilities they don't feel they can live with which opens up another can of worms.

Not wanting to be kept on life support or kept alive artificially I get, but there a big difference (certainly in a medical environment when they don't want help) between ending someone's life and not preventing someone's death.
