So Happy Easter everyone! Welsh themed title because yeah.

Anyone got anything interesting going on/received any Easter eggs?

I’m off to my parents’ house later. My sister is home for once so my mum is doing a roast. I also imagine they’ll be chocolate eggs available.

I’ve been so completely lost this entire weekend! laugh.gif Because Friday and Monday are both public holidays, and I don’t have University next week either, I have no idea what day it even is anymore rotf.gif It’s Easter, and that’s all I know...

I went out clubbing Saturday night and didn’t get home until 3, then I got woken up at around 8:30 because my niece decided to wake the entire house up so she could show everyone what the Easter Bunny left her smile.gif So I’ve had a day of no sleep, no chocolate (!! I got one Easter egg and I haven’t even opened the box yet) and now it’s time for bed tongue.gif

Skiing this week so I'm having a white Easter!

Not that we really celebrate Easter as such.

Frohe Ostern!!!

I too had a roast today. Just a flying Easter visit, but will be back properly next weekend instead.

Had a lovely roast, got an egg, a nice Sunday involving a museum trip, I think it's been a great Easter weekend.

And I've quite enjoyed the April Fool + Easter coincidence.

Well I spent this morning washing up after the Church Easter breakfast my sister and others put on to raise funds for the Jamboree until about 1:30 drama.gif. Going to church again later for Easter praise but enjoying a meal at Bella Italia now biggrin.gif

Happy Easter everyone! I had a meal at the Harvester instead of any kind of traditional Easter lunch, but I do have some Easter chocolate to celebrate the day with. *.*

I've not had any Easter candy whatsoever which is SO unlike me, but I have bought myself some pretzel chocolate bars if I do feel the need to indulge later. My Easter plans never change much, always breakfast at church followed by ham for dinner with Dad's side of the family. Always delicious though, and enough leftovers to last a week! *.* Our after-dinner activity was playing an ancient tabletop hockey game that was my dad's as a kid, plus some of my old Lego sets AND watching old home videos, so all about the throwbacks this year tongue.gif

My mum always does a roast for Easter which usually coincides with my sister being back in town.

Well certainly a tradition in terms of my household. I know that roasts are usually associated with Sundays anyway but my family make a big deal of it because we don't have them every Sunday. But yeah it's a typical Easter meal with it falling on a Sunday, especially going by other responses in this thread! I'm too fussy for components like roast lamb though, prawns and chips at The Harvester isn't quite what I'd envision as a popular response in here which is why I pointed it out haha.
