I was obsessed with Mickey Mouse comics as a kid. I had a huge collection of them until I gave them away to this girl. (I wouldn't necessarily have called her a 'friend' so 'this girl' will have to do mellow.gif)

Anyone who remembers my former username on CHC will know how much I loved The Beano growing up.

Of course *puts good old days hat on* it's gone well downhill since its halcyon days in the 90s. Their website says it all - it's now a Buzzfeed for tweens.

I'd read any comic I could my hands on, British, American, for boys, for girls, but my regular boyhood buy was Beano/Dandy sister comic Sparky. Then I discovered DC Comics and The Legion Of Super Heroes and they all went out the window from age 11. DC Comics exclusively from thereon as I only had so much pocket money...
