I’m not sure about you guys, but I sign pieces of paper a lot and over the years have accustomed myself to a particular way of signing my name. I won’t show it on here for obvious privacy reasons, but it’s interesting what the way you sign your name could reveal about you as a person.

Can anyone relate to the descriptions above?

I guess the 'naked' signature there looks the closest to mine and sure, logical makes sense. I don't see how these descriptions relate to anything for the most part though. laugh.gif

My signature is just the letters B and S each with a squiggle after them. Not meant to be decipherable. x

My signature is "C h y" tongue.gif The y has a long 'tail' with a big loop... so I guess I'm prudent and stubborn? Thanks wardy laugh.gif

My signature is TDF with angular connections and compacted together, so I guess the one that most relates to me portrays me as a 'Hot-tempered, Independent and Self-assertive' person and also a 'tactician'. Yeah :')

I was so ready for an essay about plug.dj fanart and everything sleep.gif

My signature is usually 'J Williams' with a lot of emphasis on the J, then I turn the 's' into a bit of a line that loops back round. I'd say it probably looks most like the 'curved and smooth signature' so I'll happily take that description x

I genuinely don't know what mine is closest to, I have like 3 different signatures as well, well two are the same except sometimes I underline depending on what it is, I used to always underline but it xan be awkward if you've got to sign in a small box. I have an initials signature as well that I thjnk I use more often than my full one as all my legal stuff at work is initials, i sign illustrations with initials so idk really laugh.gif

Mine's P.C (slanted), then a small squiggle that's supposed to represent the rest of my surname with a massive line coming off the end tongue.gif

My signatures such a mess lmao, it’s basically just j e f f w all written on top of eachother leading to basically a scribble, doesn’t really identify with any of those above whoops

Damn right! Actually, I'd say that's scarily bang on laugh.gif I often find myself having to find the right balance... the dreamy 'innovative' side of me needs to be bought down to earth with logic and implemented with sensible tactics tongue.gif

I created my signature when I was like 9 years old and it was originally meant to be my first name's initial (M) inside of the O that starts off my surname and then followed by the rest of my surname - so the M inside the O looked like a cracked egg! And I can't remember if that was what I was going for on purpose but that's what it ended up being haha. And now, years and years later, I actually still sign my name like that, although it has developed slightly so that now I don't always make sure it looks like an egg haha (although it often still does).

At work I have to sign pieces of paper A LOT and there I just sign as "M."

Where's the 'messy' option?

I'm calling shenanigans on this though, I doubt this is scientifically validated.

My signature is a barely legible squiggle that is supposed to be my initials plus the rest of my names, which I'm turning into large capitals so... capricious me.

just going to be an exacting bore and call this out for the bullshit that it is as well

Wait am I the only one that has a signature with all of the letters being legible? I'm quite proud of mine tbh, it's quick yet readable without being easy to copy.
