As I'm sure you may hear throughout the day, the Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy in St George's Day.

What do you think he'll be called?

Too bad George is taken, I guess.

I extend the exact amount of congratulations to the family as I would to any family with a new arrival.

I’d just like to take a moment to congratulate Amber Rudd for the birth of the new royal baby. /satire.

It's nice and all but it's a bloody baby... He's most probably not even gonna be a monarch becasue he's fifth in line to the throne and I can't stand that the whole country has to go into meltdown over a woman having a baby, something that happens thousands of times a day laugh.gif I just don't see the fuss at all. I know our royal family is a figurehead of Britain but I do get sick of everything they do being news to stop the whole day.

My housemate is gonna have the news on all evening now over it bc she's obsessed with the royal family drama.gif I hate when they have "breaking news" of her coming out the hospital with the baby covered up, who actually cares you can't see anything?

James is a good bet I think. I read that Albert was in the running but I think that's a bit too ancient

Ooh, a baby that a significant amount of population today are very unlikely to ever see on the throne is born. STOP ALL PRESSES, THERE CAN BE NO OTHER IMPORTANT STORIES TODAY, NOT AT LEAST UNTIL WE KNOW EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT HIM.

Only if you know nothing about English history. Although it would be a nice gesture to us Catholics, albeit not as nice as lifting the ban on us becoming monarchs would be.

What would they do if somehting really massive or really bad happened? Nobody can know of this massive celebrity death until we see what colour blanket the unnamed baby is wrapped in when Kate brings him out? laugh.gif

I feel like it will be a royal name ofc but something more common nowadays like they did with George and Charlotte so maybe even something like Stephen or Alexander

Arthur, Albert, Philip and Frederick are the favourites apparently, i had no idea people actually bet on this kind of thing? laugh.gif
