Simple question: do you prefer tea or coffee (or neither)?

This does not include herbal tea!

I voted neither as I am really not a fan of hot drinks, this also extends to hot chocolate! Tea is only acceptable for dunking biscuits in. On its own it's just nasty, same with coffee. I don't know how I have survived as a Uni student without ever consuming coffee but there we go.

Whatís with the herbal tea hate? tongue.gif

I canít stand coffee! The taste, smell, everything about it repulses me tbh. I like my tea with the tiniest bit of milk and thatís all. I can drink it without milk if I had to though, Iíve also had it with a drop of honey in too wub.gif yum

They're quite evenly matched for me. I don't go for hot drinks very often and I prefer hot chocolate to both of them, but I do like both (as long as there's plenty of milk and sugar)

Gonna null vote as I can't decide, it really depends on the mood

Tea! (Tetley, milk, no sugar) - I have 3-5 cups per day.

I only really drink coffee if I'm up really early or if I'm out; then I'll grab one at Starbucks.

Tea addict here. I can go days without drinking anything else. Cupboards overflowing with herbal teas as well.

I've massively gone off tea having been so into it for years. So I have to go for coffee.

I go for decaf on all fronts these days so I no longer drink either for that 'pick-me-up'.

Coffee. If herbal tea was an option it would have been difficult, however I don't like normal 'builders' tea, with or without milk

Coffee 100%. I'm not a fan of tea and I'll only drink it if it's the only thing available/someone's put it in front of me.

Is there an option for both? I think that’s where chai tea lattes fall in

I drink less coffee now than I used to but I still need at least 2 a day in general, including one large mug.
Back when I was studying it was more like 5 a day.

I didn't use to like these and coffee's still too strong for me, but tea is SO NEEDED after a day's work and my day feels incomplete without out least one cup. Two sugars and biscuits included ofc.

Tea >>>>>

Coffee is great if I need to keep myself awake, and it's alright every now and then even if I don't but on average I barely have one every couple of weeks- the taste isn't that pleasant, it's just sort of ok. Used to hate it, kind of acquired it now. I usually have at least 2-3 teas a day, like I'm fine without it (though if I don't have one at all I kind of crave it a lil) it's just nice to have something hot and it's the perfect thing to have with biscuits or anything sweet really, and it just tastes nice (if it's done right! The way you make it really matters). Coffee seems to go amazingly with fried breakfast, especially bacon.

Milk, no sugar to both beverages. Without the milk they're just too bitter. I used to have sugar in my early teens when I started drinking them but I grew out of it ages ago. Hate it if it's too sickly sweet. My reasoning is I don't usually have tea on its own that much, if I have it with something sweet I don't want extra sweetness in the tea, if it's with something savory I don't want the sweetness at all. Even if it is on its own it just tastes wrong now.
