Slightly inspired by the attractiveness poll with the confidence and ambitiousness as traits (typically Slytherin qualities), as well as this being a question that came up in discussion when I was out over the weekend. And polls are fun! (hopefully this one formats okay...)

Obviously if you don't know the Harry Potter universe you don't have to answer or try and guess~

{As requested, here's a brief rundown of each house for those unfamiliar (thanks to harrypotter.wikia):}
x Gryffindor values bravery, daring, nerve, and honour. Gryffindors are generally regarded as brave, though sometimes to the point of recklessness. They can also be short-tempered. Its emblematic animal is the lion and its colours are scarlet and gold. Gryffindor corresponds to the element of Fire.
x Hufflepuff values hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play. Hufflepuffs are known to have a strong moral code, and a sense of right and wrong. Its emblematic animal is the badger, and Yellow and Black are its colours. Hufflepuff corresponds to the element of earth.
x Ravenclaw values intelligence, knowledge, and wit. Ravenclaws tend to be curious about the world and pay attention to the world around them. Its emblematic animal is the eagle, and its colours are blue and bronze. Ravenclaw corresponds to the element of air.
x Slytherin house values ambition, cunning and resourcefulness. Slytherins tend to take charge and possess strong leadership skills. Slytherins can be very loyal. Its emblematic animal is the serpent, and its colours are emerald green and silver. Slytherin corresponds to the element of water.

Also feel free to discuss/go more into what you chose in the thread dance.gif

I've come out as all of them in tests on various occasions. So I guess I would have to independently choose which one fits me best, remind me to let you know in 2 years perhaps when my true personality is (hopefully) shining through more. happy.gif

I suppose thinking about / looking at the qualities of each, I'd be some kinda mix of Hufflepuff + Ravenclaw. But I mean when your last result on the official site was Slytherin, then that kinda throws you off and skews things. thinking.gif

It'd probably be helpful if it actually said anywhere in the thread what these traits are... tongue.gif

I'm a Hufflepuff in every test I've taken. I'm learning to embrace being a duffer.

I read the first 5 Harry Potter books ages ago but I didn't remember the details (especially of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw).

Anyway... idk. Probably Hufflepuff?

I’m a cross between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, though the tests mainly give me Hufflepuff, which is fine I guess, shame the films/books always portray them passively and give them the blandest characters sleep.gif

I don't feel like any of them accurately describe me, but those two are definitely closer than the other two so I guess I'll join you in that indeed laugh.gif

I thought Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw were supposed to be pretty much polar opposites! I am not up on my knowledge of Hogwarts.

I'm 100% Ravenclaw going by those in terms of what I value and curiosity about the world, my almost addictive Wiki walks are proof of that. The other three aren't really me at all although I guess next closest would be Hufflepuff (those virtues are really messing with my image of the house, they're better than I thought).

Alanna made me do the sorting hat thing on Pottermore last year and I got Hufflepuff. So yet another one of those for this thread. x

In every test that I've done in this effect I am an undeniable Slytherin. And no, I'm not evil I'm just badass!

And Hufflepuff is actually an alright house really, citing the following two videos as evidence:
