looking forward to Drake's new song annoying most of Buzzjack biggrin.gif and I suppose I quite like the George Ezra and A$AP Rocky songs that are set to enter (and the Dappy song is okay). About time A$AP Rocky had a top 40 hit as lead artist anyway, that is long overdue ('F**kin Problems' and 'Wild For The Night' did really well to go top 50 back before the inclusion of streaming I suppose, shame those two just missed top 40).

Released: 25th May 2018
Label: Positiva / Virgin EMI Records

Biography

London-based electronic dance producer Jonas Blue (born Guy James Robin in Essex, England) caught the attention of the industry with his reimagining of Tracy Chapman's 1988 hit "Fast Car." Adding a tropical house tint to the plaintive, bittersweet acoustic original, Blue enlisted the talents of young British singer Dakota, whose sultry vocals helped carry the song to the top of 17 international charts, including number one slots in Australia, Scotland, and both the U.K. and U.S. dance charts. In 2016 Blue released "Perfect Strangers," the follow-up to his global smash, featuring JP Cooper on vocals. The single landed in the Top Ten internationally and was followed by "By Your Side" with Raye. The following year he issued "Mama," his collaboration with Australian pop vocalist William Singe. That track would appear on Electronic Nature: The Mix 2017, a compilation of favorites from the DJ's own live sets. In addition to his own hit singles, the collection included his spins on songs by Galantis, Zedd, Ellie Goulding, Disclosure, and more. - iTunes

Biography

Zain Javadd "Zayn" Malik (/ˈmlɪk/, Urdu: زین جواد ملک‬‎; born 12 January 1993), recording mononymously as Zayn, is an English singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Malik auditioned as a solo artist for the British music competition The X Factor in 2010. After being eliminated as a solo performer, Malik was brought back into the competition, along with four other contestants, to form the boy band that would become known as One Direction. Malik split from the group in March 2015 and signed a solo recording contract with RCA Records.

Adopting a more alternative R&B music style with his debut studio album Mind of Mine (2016) and its lead single, "Pillowtalk", Malik became the first British male artist to debut at number one in both the UK and US with a debut single and debut album. Malik is the recipient of several accolades, including an American Music Award, Billboard Music Award and MTV Video Music Award.

Biography

American rapper BlocBoy JB emerged in 2017 with a pair of viral hits that highlighted his speedy rhymes and big bass production from longtime producer Tay Keith. Born James Baker in Memphis, Tennessee, JB grew up in a large, single-parent household and would sneak his brother's equipment away to record his own music. The self-taught producer and dancer released his first song, "Goons Coming," when he was just a teenager. In 2017, he issued "No Chorus, Pt. 6" and "Shoot," the latter of which took off and caught the ears of high-profile rappers like Drake. Produced by Keith, the track was featured on his mixtape Who Am I 3, and was recorded in the rapper's closet. As his online audience grew, he issued additional mixtapes like The Purple M&M and Simi. In early 2018, he scored a major co-sign when Drake joined him on the track "Look Alive," which amassed millions of streams within a month of its release. - iTunes

Feels weird this has spent 16 weeks Top 40. It's such a nothingy song.. I've heard it a few times but I can't remember any of it laugh.gif Drake's part just then sounded a bit like Bodak Yellow though I think (probably 16 weeks late on that comment but oh well)

Here for Shotgun entering this week, Top 20 I hope wub.gif

Biography

Costadinos Contostavlos (born 11 June 1987), better known by his stage name Dappy, is an English singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor. He is best known for being the lead singer of the Camden-based grime trio N-Dubz, with his cousin Tulisa, and Fazer. He was known for his slightly unusual dress sense and his love for what he describes as "eye-catching headwear". His trademark was wearing a selection of woolly chullos (sometimes referred to as "Dappy hats"), turning up one or both of the ear-flaps of the hat. - Wikipedia

Dappy actually sounds good on this but why is every other part of the song so generic?
