A bit late, but I've been on holiday so here we go!
This week, Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers get to #1, just beating fellow Welsh rock band Neck Deep with In Bloom at #2. The Manics performed International Blue on Jools Holland a few weeks ago, and I've been loving it since! Their set at the Biggest Weekend was also fantastic and I'm really looking forward to seeing them at the Isle of Wight festival in a few weeks. This week's biggest riser is Kiss by Pale Waves, I really enjoy their style and Kiss is another banger from them. Another big riser comes from Panic! at the Disco, and their new single from their upcoming album, High Hopes, I really like this new era for Panic and their set at the Biggest Weekend was amazing. There are 4 appearances from Snow Patrol this week, after the release of their 7th album Wildness, the highest is Heal Me at #5. The other risers to the top 10 are As It Is and The Kooks. Other new entries include another song from Manic Street Preachers, their new single Hold Me Like a Heaven at #19, Rescue Me by Thirty Seconds to Mars and Holy Mountain by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Next week, expect a very high new entry from The 1975's new single Give Yourself a Try, as well as new entries from Maroon 5, Gorillaz, Wolf Alice, Jake Shears and 5 Seconds of Summer. 1. Hello! I like the debut for "Rise" and the re-entry for "Loving Is Easy"! And the chart overall is great once again! Hello! Yeah, I'm not particularly big on Jonas Blue, but I really like Rise. Rex Orange County is one of my favourite singer-songwriters at the moment, all his work is fantastic and Loving is Easy is one of my favourites by him. Hi! Nice to see Shotgun reach a new peak - it's really hit me over the past few weeks! Hope it can get him another Top 5 hit Enjoying No Pressure as well - my favourite of the two new track I think but I'll have to give both of them a few more listens for a full decision Great chart Hello! I'd never listened to The Kooks before, but those two tracks (especially No Pressure) have really stood out on me. NP reminds me of a rockier version of The Beach Boys. Pale Waves' songs definitely do sound similar, but that doesn't stop me from loving them. Television Romance is a better version of There's a Honey.
