Seriously... did Wardy just make a thread on vacuuming? blink.gif

Of course I did, and rightly so for this is a task which most of us perform each week, and maybe some each day. I know how much people like to have clean living spaces, and a clean and clear carpet or laminate floor is very aesthetically pleasing both to see and walk on! tongue.gif

My question is how often do you do this chore and how thorough are you at it?

I always opt for the crevice tool to get into those hard to reach areas! (No pun intended) and I vacuum my room once a week and I take about 10 minutes I guess to do it. I may also vacuum my small van every couple of months too, but not as vigorously.

Discuss your vacuuming life. kink.gif

Slow day on Buzzjack then laugh.gif

Not as often as I ought to, the vacuuming itself isn't the problem but the having to move your whole room around to vacuum it is.

....And some said that some of my threads were unusual. laugh.gif

Every 2 or 3 days downstairs, so lounge, kіtchen and bathroom. Upstairs when I feel like it. Maybe once a week.

Slightly off topic, but it's interesting to me how people seem to call it vacuuming now... it's always been hoovering as long as I can remember in my house and those of people I know irl! (Could be a different term in different locations thing of course!)

It's always been hoovering for me! (I guess vacuuming is less product-specific though tongue.gif )

I guess that means it’s only a matter of time before the word “dysoning” gets added to the English dictionary! laugh.gif

Also, on another side note... is “Vacuum” the only word in the English language with a double u (not w)?

I hate vacuuming. I have a dust allergy and I can’t stop coughing afterwards. That’s why I have a cleaner.

I love hoovering! Although I do pretend it's a sci-fi gun...

I do actually rarely hoover though nowadays though because I live in a wood floor house with no carpets sad.gif

I only vacuum once a month but I make sure to do a thorough job with it. Getting stuff off the floor beforehand is a serious pain for me too but it makes a good incentive to just keep things tidy so it's less of a burden when that time comes.
