When during a typical day are you at your peak and able to perform almost any task you have to do? I mean, I get that we all live different lives and we all have varying amounts of energy, but if you were to say an hour of the day that youre most alert and proactive, when would you generally say this is?

I would say maybe around 1pm! Take exam revision lately, I would get up early as I know that I work more productively earlier in the day and I usually feel most raring to go after a spot of lunch, which tends to occur at about midday, due to the energy boost. Plus I've had a bit of time to get used to the task at hand by then.

Very relatable if Im honest but in my case Im certainly not a morning person so I find mid to late afternoon I am more switched on.

I couldnt even say what kind of person I am because of my work shifts. On work nights, Im like a zombie day and night, on the weekends it all depends how my sleep has been during the week, if Ive had a decent weeks sleep, Im usually better in the morning, try to get everything done so I can chill out in the afternoon and evenings. A bad weeks sleep usually results in a weekend full of naps 🙄😂

Definitely mid afternoons, around 4 or 5pm when the stress kicks in as I realise Ive done no work and the days about to end, but its also not so late that Im too tired to even do any work laugh.gif

Middle of the night. I do great work at like 2am-4am if I'm up and energized.

The other one would be the start of the morning if I've been up earlier than when I start work for the day. I can get so much done 8-10am if I've been up from like half 6.

I don't know. There comes a point in the working day when you reakuse you're not gonna be productive anymore and that moment for me is usually 9:10am.

I work better at night than during the daytime. A lot of the time at uni when I was doing last minute coursework / exam revision I'd get up fairly early but still not really start actually doing any work until like 10pm, and carrying on through the night laugh.gif

Annoyingly this is me too (possible exception when I've been up in the morning), countless times I find myself getting a burst of energy at around 10pm and then I look at the clock and oops there's a good night's sleep gone.

I'm definitely a night owl as opposed to an early bird. That's why I definitely am more productive on a night shift than between say 7 and 9 am on a day shift; thankfully there is always coffee though!
