aty Perry has slashed a further $335,000 from the price of her extravagant Los Angeles compound in a desperate bid to offload the property she originally put on the market in September.

The American singer is willing to accept $8.95 million (£6,741,274) for the Mediterranean style property, which encompasses a four bedroom house, guest house, security building, separate fitness studio and an enormous outdoor pool.

Katy, 33, originally listed the sprawling home 10-months ago, but a lack of offers has resulted in a modest reduction on its original $9.285 million valuation.

Back in September, Katy sought $9.5million for the home when she first listed her extravagant Hollywood Hills mansion on the market. The four-bed, six-bath home is located in the ultra-exclusive Outpost Estates estates and features an amazing view of Los Angeles, according to Trulia.

It was reported at the time that she has little use for the home as she is currently on her Witness World Tour which will extend through August 2018.

Whoever the eventual buyer turns out to be will gain four residential outhouses on the property which is surrounded by two acres fruit tree and garden.

Having upped living conditions in May, when she relocated to an $18million (£12.8million) estate in Beverly Crest, WWD report she tried to stay quiet about selling up her two houses in the area for $15million (£10.6million), she failed and was forced to put the property up in September.

After failing to sell, she withdrew it three months later and has now put the house back on the market for the reduced price and having switched real estate agents Douglas Elliman Real Estate’s Ernie Carswell.

The listing on the website details: 'Celebrity's compound estate comprising over 2.3 acres of magical environs near the pinnacle of Outpost Estates accessed via Mulholland...

'Four residential buildings create this unique private offering including Main Villa, a Getty-built architectural 2 story Guest House, incredible Fitness bldg/Gymnasium, and security Guardhouse. Imposing gates greet visitors who are led to the residence over a hewn rock driveway to the large Motorcourt.

'Aquamarine Pool is surrounded by quarried Italian travertine and overlooked by the Cabana and outdoor Dining Lounge w/ fireplace. Virtual indoor/outdoor living made possible in the chef's elite kіtchen w/premium appliances & beautiful tile inlay. Unforgettable Master Suite with Roman bath & sky dome ceiling.

'Outdoor destinations include Meditation gardens, terraced hiking trails, rock Ampi-theater and city view overlooks. An air of comfortable luxury pervades the living spaces, sunlit and striking. A world class resort and a personal home merged as one.'

Katy's home also features a home entertainment system, perfect for guests at movie night and one of many stunning additions is the two-storey guest house with a garage 'that could fit a limousine', according to Trulia.

Scattering the house with superstar touches, Katy's living room featured monogrammed Chanel cushions on the stylish velvet armchairs which sat in front of a vast open fire.

Near palatial in space, the sprawling kіtchen dining area boasted stone-based neutral hues, with open shelving giving a glimpse of the the glassware and finery of the A-list kіtchen.

Opting away from traditional dining chairs, the lengthy table featured two high-backed, ornately designed seats at the head of the table while the rest was accompanied by two long benches.

Keeping with the Mediterranean theme of the house, the star's bathroom featured stylish blue and white tiles in a stylish design while her deep bath looked like the perfect area to unwind.
