R. Kelly broke his silence on the sexual and physical abuse allegations to both deny them, and to drag Lady Gaga.

The Do What U Want (With My Body) singer blasted his duet partner. Gaga, calling her ‘not professional.’

This allowed Lady Gaga pulling their duet from all streaming services.

‘Anybody famous can get accused’
The singer went on CBS This Morning this week (6 March) to deny the sexual abuse allegations.

When asked by host Gayle King how he felt about Gaga’s reaction he said Gaga is a ‘very great talent.’

But he added it’s ‘unfortunate that her intelligence go to such a short level when it comes to that.’

The Ignition singer said he doesn’t have anything against Gaga, but did say it’s ‘not professional because something like this can happen to any artist.

‘Anybody famous can get accused of so many different things.’

Lol.

Do you think Gaga was still in the right to withdraw the song from streaming platforms?

Gaga was just jumping on the band wagon in my opinion. She recorded the song with him and that will never change - removing the song was just childish and no need. All she was doing was bringing publicity to herself by doing it.

I don't understand this view. She was being called out publicly for not addressing the situation. What should she have done in your opinion? Ignored it and stayed silent? She's a vocal campaigner against abuse - doing that would have undermined all the work she has done.

She had to respond. And the only way to respond was to acknowledge that it was a bad decision on her part to have worked with him. The song had to come down. Even though the meaning of the song is deeper than the initial lyrics would suggest, the words "do what you want with my body" in a song featuring an accused, serial abuser is impossible to justify. Removing the song was her decision to make and it's really a no-brainer.

I respect her for the well-worded, honest statement she put out.

She had to be seen to do something and I think she totally did the right thing!
