Confirmed that the third album, REAL LIFE, will be released on 7th June and available for pre-order from tomorrow! SO excited for this wub.gif Sparrow is incredible, so hopefully more of the same (and in the same vein as Long Live the Angels) to come.

Excited to hear this in full.

I’ve always been a fan of Emeli.

More tracks like Breathing Underwater please wub.gif wub.gif

Glad she’s releasing earlier in the year this time around too.

Tracklist:

Human
Love to Help
You Are Not Alone
Shine
Sparrow
Honest
Survivor
Extraordinary Being
Same Old Feeling
Real Life
Free as a Bird

Considerably shorter than both OVOE and LLTA, so hopefully that means absolutely no filler (i.e. I'd Rather Not, etc). Some interesting titles though; looking forward to hearing Survivor and Free as a Bird.

Sounds like the album has a feel of Empowerment throughout just by those song titles.

#1 album seems unlikely now with Avicii releasing same week he’ll beat her with his streams.

Hope it at least goes top 5 though.

She’s been very under appreciated after her big debut such a shame her success wasn’t properly sustained into the streaming era.

It appears this is now being released on June 21st and not the 7th June.

Extraordinary Being seems like the next release. It’s going to be featured as part of the X-Men: Dark Phoenix soundtrack.

This is gonna do next to nothing isn’t it after week one.

It’s a shame as the materials strong and not that drastically different when she was huge but just how did she go from having the huge success she had in her debut era to this!!

I hope the album can manage a top 5 debut but I’m worried tbh.

Is there anything planned for this in terms of promotion in the UK.

Its a great album but feels a little backtracking. I never listened to album one but album two had so many experimental moments...

This! I don’t understand how her fan base has totally evaporated! She’s gone from the debut being 8 x Platinum, the follow up Hold and this will struggle to touch Silver cry.gif

After a full listen I love this heart.gif

Extraordinary Being and Same Old Feeling are probably the weak links but vocally she’s never sounded better.

I love the choir like chants and the gospel influences again and I like that it’s slightly underproduced.

Free As A Bird instantly reminds me of something I’ve heard before does anyone else feel that way it feels so familiar I just don’t know where from.

Hope this gets some longevity. At least maybes on the level to what Didos recent album got?

With Jonathon Ross and Graham Norton back I hope she gets herself on one of those shows as well as maybes a Strictly slot.

This is too good for an in-OUT like chart run.

#4 in midweeks in the UK.
